Deze zomer was ik weer een paar dagen op mijn favoriete vakantiestek: Palma de Mallorca! Ieder jaar komen er weer leuke restaurants en nieuwe winkels bij. Ga jij binnenkort naar Palma? Sla deze adressen dan niet over.

Shoppen: Bazaar Palma
Ik was heerlijk aan de wandel in het oude centrum van Palma, toen ik deze mooie winkel ontdekte. Prachtige serviezen, linnen tafelkleden en matraskussens van mooie merken zoals Astier de Villatte, Costa Nova, Espanyolet en nog veel meer. Alles is prachtig neergezet. Maar dat is niet zo moeilijk. Er zat hier vroeger een boekenwinkel. Zoals dat tegenwoordig helaas gaat zijn de boeken verdwenen, maar gelukkig bleef het oude interieur intact. De prachtige, handgemaakte kasten lenen zich uitstekend om de artikelen te etaleren. Een must see (and buy!) als je in Palma bent. Hier kan je je souvenirs voor thuis kopen. Ik heb het net ontdekt en het staat nu al in mijn top drie van favoriete winkels!

Eten en drinken: Ram Bar
Je begrijpt dat ik alle culinaire sites van Mallorca volg. Ik ben nou eenmaal altijd in voor nieuwe dingen, zeker als het om lekker eten gaat. Ram Bar is de nieuwste vestiging van de Tast Group; ik schreef al eerder over een andere vestiging van hen, de Tast Club. In tegenstelling tot de als chique herenclub aandoende Tast Club, is dit een bruisende bar. Mooie obers om naar te kijken (hou ik van!) en heerlijke en simpele gerechtjes. Hoewel de nadruk op vlees ligt was er voor mij als niet-vleeseter genoeg heerlijks te bestellen. Ik had zin om te snoepen dus het werden een paar kleine gerechtjes: pan crystal, xxs mini kroketten van boleten en truffel en een tartaar van verse en gerookte zalm. De kwaliteit was zeer goed. De wijn? Helaas was er niet veel keus wat de wijn betreft. Het werd de Anima Blanco van Raimat (€3,00 voor een heel groot glas!). Het smaakte allemaal heerlijk, dus hier zien ze mij volgend jaar terug!

This summer I spent a few days again at my favorite vacation spot: Palma de Mallorca! Every year there are new nice restaurants and new stores. Are you going to Palma soon? Then don’t skip these addresses.

Shopping: Bazaar Palma
I was walking through the old town of Palma when I discovered this beautiful store. Beautiful tableware, linen tablecloths and mattress cushions from beautiful brands such as Astier de Villatte, Costa Nova, Espanyolet and many more. Everything is beautifully displayed. But that’s not so difficult. There used to be a bookstore here. As is unfortunately the case these days, the books have disappeared, but fortunately the old interior remained intact. The beautiful, handmade cabinets are perfect for displaying the items. A must see (and buy!) if you are in Palma. Here you can buy your souvenirs for home. I just discovered it and it is already in my top three favorite stores!

_{Food and Drink: Ram Bar
You can understand that I follow all culinary sites of Mallorca. I am always in for new things, especially when it comes to good food. Ram Bar is the newest branch of the Tast Group; I have written before about another of their branches, the Tast Club. Unlike the Tast Club, which has a gentleman’s club feel to it, this is a bustling bar. Beautiful waiters to watch (I love it!) and delicious and simple dishes. Although the emphasis is on meat, as a non-meat eater there was plenty of deliciousness for me to order. I was in the mood for a snack so I ordered some small dishes: pan crystal, xxs mini croquettes of boletus and truffle and a tartare of fresh and smoked salmon. The quality was very good. The wine? Unfortunately, there was not much choice of wine. It became the Anima Blanco by Raimat (€3.00 for a very large glass!). It all tasted delicious, so this is where they will see me next year!
